1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every government office. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, conducts official checks, or files documents for a visitor.

Its content routes readers to the custodians of Jefferson Davis Parish material, including JDPSO, the appropriate court clerk, Louisiana State Police BCII, and the Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry. Some pages also connect to outside search services.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site

This applies with special force to sex offender registry information: Louisiana law restricts how Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry data may be used, and misusing registry information against a listed person can carry criminal penalties. Registry data exists for public safety awareness, not for vigilante action, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any of those purposes, order an official check through the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information (BCII) or an FCRA-compliant screening company.
