Why We Built This Site
Louisiana records access begins with the office that created or keeps the item. JDPSO handles parish booking and jail material. The Jefferson Davis Parish Clerk preserves district pleadings, minutes, judgments, and certified dispositions, while Jennings City Court maintains its city matters. BCII holds the fingerprint-linked state repository. The Department of Public Safety and Corrections and the Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry serve different public purposes. We organize the official contacts, available portals, known fees, and request paths without treating those separate systems as one database.

An official copy must come from the custodian, such as JDPSO, the appropriate court clerk, or Louisiana State Police BCII.
